Growing up, Selma’s father never talked about his war torn past. Born in the North of Palestine in the 1930s, he fled to Syria during the invasion of his hometown. Now, almost seventy years later, thanks to his internet savvy daughter, memories come flooding back as he examines a map of his village she found on E-bay.
Palimpsest is the story of the lives hidden beneath the surface of perceived realities, asking us the question: are we not also what we have lost?
